P0100 ORGANIZATION OF THE BOARD

BOARD POLICY:

The first regular meeting in July of each year shall be the organizational meeting. At that meeting, the Board shall elect a president and vice president from its members, each of whom shall serve for one year or until his/her successor is elected and qualified.

Implemental Procedures:

1.      Election of Officers

      The election of officers shall be by open ballot, with each member issued ballots with his/her name inscribed for identification. Each member may vote for any member of the Board and successive ballots shall be taken until one member receives four votes. In such event, that member shall be declared elected as president for a period of one year or until his/her successor is elected. The election of vice president shall be conducted in the same manner as the election of the president. The newly elected president and vice president shall assume their duties at the conclusion of the Board meeting in which they are elected.

Board counsel has approved this policy as to legal form and content.
